Unable to export

Post by stanford_cardinal » Sun Jun 06, 2010 6:08 pm

I am having trouble exporting data. I finished scoring a game and emailed the HTML and scorecard to myself. Exit the game to the home screen and export. The last two exports give me a message "unable to export". I go to the admin page my.iscorebaseball.com and the game is there but the game is unavailable in the stats and the games portion of my teams web page.

Twice I have deleted the games and reuploaded the game and it became available. This last time it won't work.

I have turned off the iPad twice.

Any ideas?

number 1 cause is poor internet connection.. I will assume you have already eliminated that possibility..

been a while, but there was a time when having odd characters in a game name created some one off trouble (apostrophes for example).. make sure you game name has basic characters.

not sure when you said you deleted a game what you meant. No need to delete, just re export and it will over write / update a prior version.

sometimes i do get a failed message on weekends when server load is extra high on ftm end.

those are my initial thoughts .. let me know if there was an odd character in the name or if trying again worked.

The game definitely will not appear in stats until you get a "Successful" message when exporting. As OhioTex mentioned, internet connections and high weekend load can be the issue. If you feel it is something more than those two things, you can email us at support@iscorecentral.com directly, and we can work closer with you.
