Pitch location question

Finally feeling brave and tried a game using Pitch Location, on iPhone. I thought instructions said to push "in play", before hit location, when ball in play, but it wouldn't let me do location of pitch the batter hit. It seemed to want me to do it on next pitch to next batter? Should I have hit location THEN "in play"?
I think this will likely be easier on iPad, as all the screens are open, right in front of you.

I generally don't assign pitch location to a hit but I probably should. IScore is set up to score what you see in the order it happens. So you would register the hit location first, then in play.

However that does bring up a different question that I don't know the answer. How are the locations registered? Currently you touch ball/strike then pitch type then location. So can you add another location without touching another strike? With the hit, iScore registers a strike to pitch count, so if you hit strike, type, location then, in play, the pitcher would get 2 strikes to pitch stats not just one.

Pitch location is the one thing that defaults to the opposite order... you enter the pitch location AFTER the play by default. The most important part of the play is the action. Pitch location is optional, so we defaulted it to be after the pitch. Yes, that means for the 3rd out in the inning, you would actually be entering the pitch location of that out while the other team's first batter is at the plate.

We do have an option for "Pitch Location First" however. When in the scoring screen, go to the Tools menu (icon in bottom right), and there is a "Pitch Location First YES | NO" selector. You can choose your preferred method of entering pitch locations.

Thanks for the answer, Guys! I'm thinking of doing "Pitch location", first. It would be nice to see that a batter is swinging and hitting bad pitches, whether they are outs or hits. You guys on this forum are awesome!
