I have the iPad version 2.60.83.
This weekend was my first scoring games. Each time I tried to enter a courtesy runner (by clicking on the baserunner, then courtesy runner, then the player, then "save"), the program still showed the original batter on base. It also seemed to score the stats for the original runner, not the courtesy runner.
Is this a bug others have seen?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Courtesy runner?
We just had another user give specific steps around courtesy runner that caused a problem that we are going to fix right away. If you can give the specific steps leading up to the courtesy runner issue, that may be helpful as the other one was very specific.
Batter #1, Out
Batter #2, Out
Batter #3, Single
Put in courtesy runner for person at first, and it says runner came in at third.
If you have a Walk instead of a single for batter #3, things work as expected.
Would be curious about what led up to yours so we can make sure the fix we are putting in for the one above will also fix the issue you are seeing.
Thank you.

Re: Courtesy runner?
The issues with Courtesy Runner on the iPad version have now been fixed for the release that will come out after 2.70 (which is currently awaiting Apple's approval).
NOTE: This issue does not exist on the iPhone version.

Re: Courtesy runner?
I verified last night (again, iPad version), that indeed, the courtesy runner shows as "comes in at 3rd base".
This is regardless of which base the runner being substituted was on (happened on first or second base), and seemed to be independent of number of outs, etc.
My exact scenario was:
First batter of game, hit single==> tap runnner, select courtesy runner==> pick player, and hit save
Runner selected shows "comes in at 3rd base". Original runner still listed at first base, and gets credit for SB's and runs scored.
Anxiously awaiting 2.70--c'mon Apple, approve it already!

Re: Courtesy runner?
As noted, we have been able to reproduce and have this fixed for the version after 2.70... need Apple to approve 2.70 before we can submit that update however.
Thank you.
