This sounds like good news - thank you! Just so I'm clear when explaining this to my parents (sorry, but this is the level of detail I have to go to...):
1) viewing live games on iScorecast VIEWER is NO LONGER an option on Mobile Devices - you must use iScorecentral app (or "watch game within iScore Baseball)...correct?
2) Since all 3 of our teams have paid iScore Team websites - ANY fan that clicks on our game in iScorecentral (or through the Watch Game in iScore Baseball) will NOT need to pay any subscription fee to view play-by-play? Correct?
Thanks!!

fyi... as of the new releases today (iScore Central v1.71 and iScore Baseball v5.107), any game for a team that has an iScore Team Website no longer requires an individual subscription to view in iScore Central and under Watch Game in iScore Baseball. There will be a little "unlocked" icon in the game listing indicating the games that can be watched without a subscription.

@mmdow..
I appreciate the NEED to be explicit with parents..
Just so I'm clear when explaining this to my parents (sorry, but this is the level of detail I have to go to...):
A small tip i found helps.. I reference central viewer as iScore "Blue Icon App." .
- most parents and fans will want the "iScore Central Viewer" ( Blue App icon).
- scorekeepers would use the green or orange icon App.. -- Green for baseball, softball, Football, Soccer, Lacrosse and Orange for Basketball.

So I see this change has come about and it's kind of annoying but I understand what's going on. My question is, if we don't use iscore websites, what are our options for viewers to see our games, other than each viewer paying $5 for three months. I score for two different teams on one iPad. Both teams have established websites so we won't be using that feature. Is there an option to pay a "device" fee so any games scored on my iPad can be viewed by anyone?

Depending on your needs you have options, If you have enough folks who want to watch games on mobile devices and who do not want the added benefit of premium features in isocre central , You can potentially save money by purchasing a 20$ team web site subscription for a team and then their games will be 'unlocked' in iscorecentral viewer.

Is the 'premium sound' supposed to be offered for iOS and Android users of iScoreCentral watching 'unlocked' games provided by team with a team website? Someone with an iPhone couldn't get the sound to work at the field. He just kept getting nagged to buy premium- although he could watch. However another person with Android got the sound also.

The audio is available for the unlocked games. The ads will still be there asking the user to upgrade so they can view other games and get the favorites / push notification features that are still only available for subscribers.

The game was supposed to be unlocked and he couldn't enable the audio.

@support, i have had similar comments on iphone. Not been able to reproduce consistently. The best guess is it happens to users who previously had premium and are signed in.
@mikeny, when i have had this reported, i provide two suggestions .. 1) if you plan to use often, consider buying the premium as you will also get favorites . 2) try removing the app and re download from app store and 'don't' sign in. (See above paragraph for My working theory)

Thanks. This particular user never had premium. He just downloaded the app. He has an iPhone. I will recommend uninstalling and reinstalling. I don't think he ever clicked sign in because he never registered but I will pass this info along.
