More League Options

Post by signothingpod » Wed Sep 24, 2014 12:06 pm

Seeming as we are already able to set our teams and players into leagues, it would cool if we could get stats on a league level.

For example:

League Leaders (or even just sortable lists for batting, pitching, and fielding like we have per team)
League Standings

Maybe there is already a way to do it that I'm not aware, I'm pretty knew to this.

Other than that I have been very impressed with this app

Thanks

You can view stats for any team filtered to just the games in a league.

We do not have a way to see all stats for all players combined in a league because it seems highly unlikely that would be useful for the typical use case. Typically a scorekeeper has their own team, and they may face other teams 1 or 2 times during the season, so comparing the stats of their players with 20 games each to the stats of the players they played which have 1 or 2 games played would not be an apples to apples comparison.

I would definitely give this request a +1. I think for those of us that use your app for gaming purposes, it would be a perfect fit.

Thanks

That is exactly my purpose. I don't know if we are the only two that do this but I use iscore to keep score for Strat-O-Matic baseball games.

I guarantee you we are not. On other forums, Delphi for example, many gamers use iScore for their games. It appears to be growing in popularity which I hope will give the designers here the impetus to develop league wide stats.

I also use this great app to score games in a board game league (along with my daughters softball games). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider offering a league stat option that would compile all players combined in a league. Offer it at an additional cost as an add-on . I think you would be surprised how many people would love to have this option. I really love the app and this option would make it PERFECT!

We do have a tournament / league offering that has been in Beta that will be available to the general public soon. Just finalizing some details at this point.

Any updates on when this may be available to the general public? It is the missing piece to make this the perfect program (for me anyway!).
