What's the trick to updating player photos?

What's the trick to updating player photos?

I have some old pictures from last year that I want to replace and I select the new photo in team manager and it says it uploads but the old picture still appears.

If the old picture is still showing after a successful upload, it likely means it is still in the cache. You can either clear your browser cache to see the updated photo, or in a few hours it will likely clear itself out.
