iScoreCast question - is there a way to select leagues?
iScoreCast question - is there a way to select leagues?
Have been using the iScore baseball app for 2 seasons now and love all the enhancements and the new iScorecast web app. The parents love it as well.
When looking at player stats on iScorecast, is there a way to limit to one league? I have regular season play as a league, seperate tournaments into their own leagues, etc. When we get a new player, their stats are for current year, but veteran players have all games in their stats. Is there a way to limit to current year or league or select only the leagues you want to have displayed in player stats?
Thanks.
Doug

Re: iScoreCast question - is there a way to select leagues?
The cumulative stats on the iScorecast are the career stats for that player. We do not filter by season. We will likely be adding league filtering for iScorecasts for people that have iScore Team Websites in the future.

Is there a way to hide cumulative stats on the iscorecast? We dont like to show all the parents the cum stats because it can lead to fun conversations. You know parents asking why their son is not playing or batting higher in the order. Silly I know. It would be great if we could hide the cums stats.

excellent sorry I should have searched. As always love this product. One of the parents sent me a great note saying how thankful she was that we did the games via iscorecast because she is home with the other kids, two of which are special needs. Thanks again!

It was about a year since this post about selecting leagues. Has there been an update yet to allow us to look at stats for certain leagues/tourneys? You can do this w other products. I switched it iScore this season because you have more detail, but this missing one is an issue for our coaching staff.
Thank you, that's my ONLY complaint. I love the app otherwise.

Re: iScoreCast question - is there a way to select leagues?
Yes, you can now set the league you want the statistics to filter to for iScorecasts.
Log in to the Admin Website for your device, go to the Settings option (upper right corner), and in the Scorecasts section next to Statistics, you can select whether to turn off cumulative stats altogether, show all stats for the player, or filter to a specific league.
If you are talking about overall stats, the Team Websites have always had the ability to filter by any league as well. And it allows you to pick the league to view at any time, not just one setting for the account.

Just to be clear, when showing all stats for the player in the Career Stats on iScorecast, you are only going to get all of the stats for that player on that team. Correct?

Re: iScoreCast question - is there a way to select leagues?
Yes, it always filters by team on the iScorecast.
The additional League option is useful if you use the same team from year to year, and only want to display the stats for a particular year. You could create a "2012" league and "2013" league for example, and make the iScorecasts only show the stats from "2013" if you would like.
