Is it possible to fix an "accidentally skipped" batter?

Post by JPShinn » Fri Mar 15, 2013 7:28 pm

All:

Total noob here. I was scoring my son's little league game and due to some last minute no shows I didn't realize I had a discrepancy in my lineup. As a result, I accidentally skipped a player in the bottom of the 1st in the batting order. I didn't realize it until the 2nd when it was too late to "undo." Rather, I just skipped through the lineup and continued on.

While I realize there is functionality to go back and edit the game when it's over, it seems like fixing a "skipped" batter is not one of those capabilities. Before I go back and rescore the whole game, I thought I should ask for help. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
John

This is something we would like to create a tool for, but we are not sure when it will be available. The only way to fix this type of issue right now is to either rescore the game or override the stats for the effected players. Rescoring a game from the pitch by pitch and/or scorecard usually only takes about 15 minutes.

Thanks, I ended up doing the former. It was really quite easy to re-score although I look forward to a fix.
