emailing stats

Post by Scl » Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:41 am

Up until yesterday, iscore emailed game stats without a problem. The program now will not email game stats, cumulative (year-to-date) stats or players' cards. I have tried deleting the app. & reinstalling to no avail. How do I fix the problem?

We had an issue with the email servers earlier this morning. This should now be resolved. If you are still having an issue, please let us know what type of device you are using, and which data you are trying to email, and whether you get a "Success" or "Unsuccessful" message when trying to send the email.

I am still having the problem. I am using an Ipad3. I have tried to email game stats, player cards and cumulative stats. I have tried emailing over and to Yahoo a Yahoo account, Microsoft exchange account and gmail account. The result has been the same -- non-receipt of the email and stats. Each time, my device indicates that the email was sent successfully. Thanks.

We just sent emails from a device here to both a gmail and hotmail account and received both of them. Have you checked your SPAM folder to see if maybe they are being delivered there?

Yes, with respect to emails sent to myself. However, I have attempted to send them to multiple addressees and none have received the emails or stats.

The email for the iScoreCast for the game i scored tonight didn't work 6-8PM EST (tried multiple times). Never said successful or not successful, after hitting the Send button it sat there for about 45 secs, then the dialog went away. When I got home (9pm est) i created a quick new game and it did send the email, however I was connected via Wifi at that point. I did have connectivity at the field as web browsing worked and i was receiving email.

The support personnel were extremely responsive to my post. They responded within an hour and worked diligently through the afternoon to diagnose and correct the problem. It appears to have been an issue with one of iscore's servers, although I am deducing this from comments. In any event, as of now, the problem has been corrected.

Hi, when i email game stats and scorecard from my ipad I cannot open the attachments. The scorecard PDF says "Acrobat could not open 'scorecard.pdf' because it is not supported or damaged."
When I try to open the stats.xls, I get this error: "The file you are trying to open, 'stats.xls' is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening file. Continue?". When I hit continue the spreadsheet opens up but it is blank.
Now when I export the data and do data sharing to my android verion (on my phone) they open and print fine. Can you please help me out? It would be much easier to be able to email stats from my ipad than have to data share everything to my android phone and then email it!

I hope this makes sense. And thank you for your help.
