editing agter a game frustrations!
i am quickly becoming frustrated with the lack of editing ability after a game has been scored. we are using iscore exclusively in our little league for minors and majors and have been getting adjusted to it. however, i was just informed that our little league scorekeeper did not score a run on a passed ball. i have the original game on my ipad. i know exactly where it is in the pitch by pitch record. it says the runner held up at third. i want to push he went home on a passed ball but home is not a choice at all only third base is highlighted. i have tried to edit a play during another pitch but it will not allow me to do anything. this seems pretty basic. why wont it work? please help me get up to speed and please dont tell me to unscore an rescore the game-it occured for the fourth batter in the entire game. i wont go back and undo/redo everything.
Re: editing agter a game frustrations!
I totally agree with needing more features in post-game editing. Little League games are at such a fast pace that items are often missed such as leaving a runner stranded on third that actually scored. What I would love to see is the ability to change an error to a hit. It seems that you can change a hit to an error but not the other way around. Not sure why you can do it one way and not the other. Does anyone know if there is a way? Hope these items are at the top of the Enhancement Requests!

You can change an error to a hit right now on the same screen you change a hit to an error.

@kelly - do an options -> Export and email your customer ID and details (game/inning/player) to support@iscoresports.com and we will manually adjust your game for you.

Re: editing agter a game frustrations!
I previously entered the runner reaching base with an error on the right fielder and holding up at 2nd. After reviewing with the coach, I need to change the error to a double. I have the option of a single but not a double. Can I fix this?

That is correct, we can not change an error to a multi-base hit. If you do an Options -> Export and email your customer ID and all the details (game/inning/player) to support@iscoresports.com, we can see if we can adjust this for you.

Re: editing agter a game frustrations!
Thank you soooo much for offering to edit the game. I will send it to you. I do appreciate the speed in which I get responses using this forum, so that does make up for what is missing in the program itself. I think having people send in their problems and having you correct them will help you make adjustments and update the program. Thank you for doing that.
I'm wondering how you will make the changes though. I don't want to export/import a game that has potentially other mistakes due to someone at the support center undoing and restoring a game from the point of the mistake, but I will give it a try. If you send me back a game, can I import it under another name and compare it to my game already on my iPad?
I also wanted to say I have been able to adjust a play by erasing an error, so I'm not sure why the person was having trouble with that function.

FTM support is top notch as you have seen.
Error to single can be done. Error to multi-base hit cannot. That is why the other user was not able to do this.

We will fix the one run that your scorekeeper did not score from third and will not touch the rest of your data. Just be clear in your email to us which game/inning/player it is.

Re: editing agter a game frustrations!
I'd like to say that it is phenomenal support to make that modification, as this is one of my frustrations. I've only booked two games, but after the game, it would be great if I could insert a modification. Adding a note is nice, but for example in the sixth inning, plenty of chaos occurred and after going back a batter to correctly input the at-bat, there was a walk, but there was also a 3-pitch strikeout that I missed (that may sound embarrassing and although it slightly is, there was no feasible way to go back again when there was another quick hit and a few more stolen bases, etc. in fast succession). I want to make the stat correct, but there's no way to do so at this time. The offer to make the edit is commendable.
So, I ended up showing that batter out between 3rd and home and chalked it up to "other". I understand the need to keep the integrity of the game, but it would be nice to have a way to modify an at-bat after the game, with the option to change the manner in which an "out" occurs, or the way a runner advances. Not sure how, but with a regular book, it's an erase and "K" and done in 3 seconds. Any work-around? I just want to ensure I keep the stats correct as that pitcher deserves a K, not a BB.
In the interim, I'll make my own modifications as it was in the top of the 6th and the game ended due to time, but an option to insert strikes/balls later (that's usually what I'd like to add as I "know" that the batter was 1-2 when he hit, but sometimes I'm behind fixing what I did wrong before and just put it In-Play so I can catch up), as well as make modifications that allows for mistakes like the above would be great.
Thank you and I'm going to rank it 5*, bumping it up due to this excellent customer support. BTW - the team I played against first, bought it the next day from my recommendation. I bet by the end of the season, there will be another 10-15 teams that will pick it up in our bracket. Just an awesome app and I'll relay the awesome support to everyone we play against.
