Eliminate Preseason Game from Cumulative Stats

Post by dpagetx » Sat Mar 10, 2012 9:29 am

I have set up separate leagues for our preseason, non-district, tournament and district games. This is great for looking at stats in each category, but I need to be able to look at the cumulative season stats starting after the pre-season. I am using the team site to report to the coaches & parents.

Is there a way to eliminate the preseason games from the cumulative stats? I tried eliminating the pre-season league from the team's selected leagues and re-exporting, but the game still shows in the game list (the pre-season league is gone from the drop-down list, but the game is still there.) Do I have to delete the game in order to accomplish my reporting goal?

Thank you!

The "(All)" league will always show all the games for your team. If you go to Team Manager, select your team, then select Leagues, you can assign your TEAM to any set of leagues you like. These leagues will appear in the League dropdown on your team website. So viewers can select your "non-district", "tournament", or "district games" league on the website and view just those games by choosing the appropriate league from the dropdown.

You can create another league called "2012 Season" or something like that, and add all games except the preseason games to that league, and then add that league to your TEAM, and then your followers can select that league in the dropdown to see all games excluding the preseason.

Do Players have to be put in Leagues

Post by chuckb74 » Mon Mar 12, 2012 3:59 pm

I have been searching about leagues and Players in leagues and I have not been able to find the answer to this. When you create a new league... say "Ballers weekend tourney" I have read that you need to add the appropriate teams & Games to that new league that represents that weekend Tourney but do the players have to be edited and added to that league also or is adding the team enough?

thanks

Adding to just the Team + Game is enough. You do not have to add the players.
