Iscorecast Career Batting Average

Post by Coach Lance » Mon Feb 20, 2012 6:01 am

I am having two problems. First, for some reason the new iscorecast constantly freezes on IE 9.0. I don't know why, but it just doesn't work right. When I use Chrome, it works perfectly. Any insight would be helpful.

Second, for some reason the career batting average doesn't show up when a player comes up to bat. The game average works fine, and so does ERA and career ERA, but not career AVG. Is that just me or does it happen for everyone?

Thanks!

I was having the same issue with the Career Batting Average displaying only a "---" rather than an average.

I also noticed that the Career ERA is throwing out some funky numbers. For example, I have one girl who has 7 IP and has surrendered 6 ER, but it displays as ERA of 0.26. On the team's website page (under 'Statistics"), it displays correctly.

If you can email us a link to the game to support@iscoresports.com, and let us know which player you are seeing an issue with, we can take a look.

Just sent a link to a game along with a screenshot of each of our pitchers and their displayed stats. I only WISH the girls had the ERAs that the Scorecast is displaying!

Thanks!

One other question to ask while you're looking at that issue:

========

Scenario:
Game is progressing. The other team is at-bat. As each new batter comes to the plate, her image and stats are displayed. Everything's fine so far.

Then I click on my pitcher's name from the defensive setup so I can see her stats. Once I've seen my pitcher's stats and want to again display the batter's (let's call her "Mildred") stats, I can click on Mildred's name and Mildred will display. However, Mildred remains displayed even after she's made an out and subsequent batters like Buella or Florence come to the plate. It almost seems like there needs to be a "refresh" command in there or something.

========

Does that make sense?

Click on the current batter in the bottom right (where you see the pitcher vs batter matchup), and it should return to following the current batter as each new batter comes to the plate.

Career Batting Average should now be fixed.

Thanks for the speedy work!

I notice that the ERA is now correct on two of my four pitchers, but is still errant on the other two.

And clicking on the batter in the pitcher-batter matchup did the trick. Thanks!

Ok, I'm back to bug you again. I THOUGHT that clicking on the pitcher-batter matchup did the trick last night. But I just tried it again and now it's not working again. When I get home tonight, I'm going to record my screen for you and email that to you.

One other interesting note. I haven't gone through all 180-ish games I've scored, but there's one game where I noticed that one of my batters had five pitches simulated as balls despite the count being 2-0. You'll also be able to see that in the video I'm going to email to you. It's repeatable and shows up on both my work desktop Mac and my personal MacBook Pro when I replay that particular game. Weird.
