Hit charts for opposing teams

Post by kriegner » Sat Apr 30, 2011 5:59 am

Love the product! Created team website, which tracks our stats fantastically. We are playing a team this weekend which we played previously. Tried to look up their hit chart on "my.iscorecentral.com". Can find the team, and it has icons to click for their roster and hit charts, but clicking them takes you to a blank page. I did email the scorebook to "web", synchronized iscorecast, and exported before checking, so everything should be synced. Would really like this info so I can tell coach how to shift infield/outfield... Any ideas?

hmm.. sounds like doing the right thing.. Here are a couple ideas to try..

the "admin site".. my.iscorecentral.com teams tab is the right place, clicking the diamond icon should bring up the charts.

double check you do not have two copies of the team name, (perhaps a typo) in the list and the team you are clicking on as such has nothing scored..

does it open for any team on that page? or your team on your team web site.. if none, may be a browser setting issue, if always blank. try with a different web browser if you can.

I can open hit chart from my team, but any other team just generates a blank pdf. Tried in both Safari and Firefox. Hmmm. Also, only one team listed for the team I'm trying to pull up...

what type of device, Android or iOS.?

(sounds odd, but we have seen a few server side issues that are device dependent)

Make sure all the games are actually "over". In Game Manager, for the list of games, they should all have an "F" next to them. Some people forget to use Misc -> End game if the game ends early due to time limits or a mercy rule. iScore does not populate several of the stat fields (including hit locations) until games are complete. If you see games like that, you can still select the game, select Play, and select Misc -> End Game.

@kriegner.. if that is the case and you have number of games, not going final (darn i should have thought of that,). you may want to check the options setting for innings per game, change default 9 innings to something less, like high school 7. not only does that help end games on last regulation out, but it refines the ERA calculation for your level. ERA will use your # of innings, (ERA9 always uses 9 in the calculation).

you can set the innings per game option at game set up screen using the option button (lower right) or anytime during game or even at game over screen with the options button (lower right)

Would clearing the cache help here for the computer to fetch new data from the site? It's a long shot but we've seen it solve other issues before.

All games are marked as "Final" in game Manager (I have them set for 6 inning games). Tried resetting cache, to no avail. Will email support
