iScorecast User ID Sync

Post by Mishdo1 » Sat Apr 21, 2012 12:31 pm

I have been using iPhone for scoring. Just recently got an iPad. Now I am looking to score games on iPad. Is there a way to keep the same Customer ID on iScorecast? When I configured iPad it changed the Customer ID for iScorecast.

Customer ID is unique to the device. Cannot be changed.

If you have a team website, you can use:

http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... tml?c=xxxx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; where xxxx = your team website name.

We do have website. Are you saying I can guide my users to broadcast from teamsit? Or I can use site address for iScorecast?

No. I'm saying use the link above with your team website name at the end instead of x's. This will show all games for your team regardless of device they were scored on.

http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... tml?c=xxxx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This link is to the iscorecast page and will list all your team games.

There is actually a shorter URL you can use too... if you team website is "http://iscorebaseball.com/myteam", you can have them go to http://iscorecast.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and just enter "myteam" for the Customer ID. Or you can use the shortcut http://iscorecast.com/?c=myteam" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Okay, so do I have to create a new website to correspond with my iPad customer id? The game I scored yesterday is not exporting to our team website created when I was only using the iPhone app.

only one device can populate the website. You can data share to get it to the right device and then export.

or, if the ipad is to be the primary device, FTM can change your website to associate with that device instead.

If you want us to change your website to come from a new device, send us an email to support@iscoresports.com with the URL of your team website, and the Customer ID of the device you want us to pull data from.
