iScoreCast - How to Remove, Rearrange, and Relist Games?
iScoreCast - How to Remove, Rearrange, and Relist Games?
Few i-ScoreCast Beginner questions
First,
it was easy as pie to post an old game to "my iscore web page"..
Game Manager> select game >scroll to end > press i-socrecast synchronize !!
and just as easy to view on the web
for other newbies you find your unique iscorecast
url and id under options> iscore cast > in your app
Questions:
1- Is there a way to re arrange the games on "my" iscore web page?
(what is the default order, does it sort alpha, date, or Last one in on top)
2- Is there a way to remove a game from "my" iscore web page?
(inadvertently fat fingerd one game and posted it )
3- Is there a way to set them to 'auto start' vs saying "endof game" and push 'replay?
( i recall this was changed with the demo , is there a setting on our end or option)
4- Is there a way to go back to the game list without refreshing and entering Id again?
(believe posted on another thread as no but on list for future enhancement )

1) The top one is the most recent game that was scorecast
2) We are working on an admin interface to handle things like this. Fortunately updates to the web part of scorecast wont require Apple approval
3) This url will do what you are asking http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... l?replay=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false Basically the trick is to add replay=1 as a querystring param
4) There is not currently a way to return to the game list without refeshing

I just tried the query string modification and still my game will not start from the beginning? Am I doing something wrong?

Re: iScoreCast - How to Remove, Rearrange, and Relist Games?
If the game is currently in progress then the game automatically jumps to the current position in the game. If the game has ended then the replay is able to jump to the start of the game and play from there. If you are not able to start from the beginning then it is likely the game has not yet ended.

is there currently a way for us to find out our game code?
... so we can send a specific URl for iscorecast in the form of
data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/player.html?g=zzzzzzz&c=xxxxx&replay=1

No. URLs to specific games will be supported as part of the web portal we are working on. For now, you can have a URL to the list of games for your Customer ID, but not to a specific game.

We are starting to roll out some functionality on the web portal. You can delete games from the scorecast list. See more information here:

My game will not replay either. It does show as ended in the iPhone, but I am wondering if it is not an issue with a game that "ended early". This particular game ended after 5 inning due to a time limit.

Re: iScoreCast - How to Remove, Rearrange, and Relist Games?
It is fine to end a game early - just make sure to go to the Misc button on the scoring screen, and click End Game.
If you have already done that, then it is possible the "end game" even did not make it to the Scorecast server. To send it there now, go to Game Manager, select your game, scroll to the bottom of the Game Info screen, and click "i-ScoreCast Synchronize" under Options. This will re-send the scorecast events to the server.
After doing this, you should be able to replay your game. Let us know if this works for you.
Thank you.
