Hit Chart options and others

Post by Stadtusquo » Wed Jun 08, 2011 2:11 pm

I have been enjoying iScore for nearly 2 years, now. Great app! I love the player hit charts. Is there any thoughts to being able to manipulate it to do the following?

1) Show last 25 HITS (or even set a parameter as desired)
2) Show last 25 Outs
3) Show a different color for sacrifices

I realize these may not be high on many lists, but it would be neat to see that a "Player" has tendencies to get out when they pull the ball, for example. Or... to show that they hit a decent amount of sacrifices, and what type/location are they (bunts, grounders, flyouts)

Also...
4) it would be great to be able to see that a Catcher hangs on to foul tips, via a "caught foul tip" button
5) Separate fielding data by positions played (ie: How many innings Caught, errors by position, innings played by position, etc...)

Just my thoughts.... keep up the great effort!

Fabulous app. Huge fan and tell everyone I can to join.

Along the same lines, perhaps a shorter term player stat card. What has the player done the last 5 games, last 10, etc? instead of an the overall cumulative totals.

Granted, this could be done online from the individual player card emails. But not for every player w/o emailing each player's card every game.
It might be easier to just add the opponent and date/time to the player game stats download file. That would result in 1 download instead of 9-12.

Keep up the fabulous work.

Keep in mind you can use Leagues to do all kinds of filtering. Some people have created a league called "Last 10 games" for example, and every time they play a new game, add it to the Last 10 games, and drop off the last one. You can then view stats for the Last 10 (or whatever grouping of games you would like).

These are all good suggestions, and it is balancing act between a scoring application and an analytics application. We will certainly keep them all in mind as we continue expanding the functionality.
