Passwords

Post by CSThunderCoach » Sun Mar 28, 2010 3:58 pm

We would like to give access to the games, photos, and calendar area of the site to the parents without giving them access to the detailed statistics. We try to keep the raw stats to just the coaches. Parents are hard enough to please with playing time without giving them ammunition to use against us.
I would like to request a "coaches" password on the statistics page, or even a password for each section. We can have them all the same or set different passwords to lock-down.
I know this may seem petty, but ideally I would like to see the Home & Sponsors page open to public - Calendar, Games, Roster & Photos restricted to parents & those we give the password, and the details statistics just for the coaches.
Thanks!

We will try and add more password levels in the future so you can select which passwords work with which sections.

I am also looking for that ability. I just emailed my whole team what I thought was just a password to upload photos, and it gave them all access to the stats page.

On the SETTINGS page, there are separate password settings for a GUEST login and a PHOTO UPLOAD login, but the photo PW works for the stats page. Is there a way to keep them separate?

This has now been fixed. We were giving "Photo Upload" users "guest" access + "photo upload" access.

We have changed that so that Photo Upload does not give users access to other "guest protected" tabs.
