iscore team websites

Post by cchristopher » Wed May 16, 2012 2:13 pm

Unsure if a setting is screwed up but when as an administrator I go to settings and put in my password it loops back to the password again. I know it is the correct password as it is pulled from the optons menu / Admin website. It seems to do this on other tabs as well. It asks for a password on the calendar and photos. It may be a simple fix. Please help

Sounds like you probably have set your Guest password to the same thing as your Admin password. Go to Options -> Admin Website on your iScore device and change the Admin password to something different from there.

The two passwords can not be the same or iScore assumes you are logging in as Guest.

I somehow, in the last few years, managed to get a cute little image below the menu buttons on the left side of my team website, http://iscorebaseball.com/kanewa. The links I must have inserted no longer work ... if they ever did. I can't seem to figure out how to edit the links, both within the image and the text link below. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... in trade ...

I finally figured out how to make a functioning link on the home page or the calendar page, to get them to open a page outside the frame in a new tab so I thought I'd share it.

Always include the "http or https in your a href code and include: traget=_"blank" to open page in a new tab ... as follows:
<a href="https://www.mauiseniorsoftball.com" target=_blank"Click Here</a>.

The complete code incorporating a link within an image follows:
<p align="center"><a href="https://www.mauiseniorsoftball.com/home.html" target="_blank"> <img src="http://www.proteasofhawaii.com/images/SeniorPlayer.gif" alt="" width="499" height="331" /></a></p>

The complete code with a string of text follows:
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.mauiseniorsoftball.com/home.html" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: arial black,avant garde;">www.MauiSeniorSoftball.com</span></a></p>

That is a place for a ‘sponsor’ icon/image

Log in as admin on your team web site

Go to sponsors , upload an image with a url and set as ‘feature’

I think the color of caption text link is white by default and not sure editable. If you don’t have a contrasting darker background, you can skip having caption altogether
