Changed teams and want to start over- want new login code (resolved)

Post by Kelfromcal » Sat Sep 02, 2017 9:07 am

I have changed teams and would like to completely start over, including having a new login. What is the best way to start over so only my new team can log in while I'm scoring? I am willing to completely register w a new email I just am not sure how to get a new log in code

Which 'log in code' ??

If you are talking about the device id and password found on your device under Option>Admin web site

You can change the password there

If you are wanting to get a new 'device id', if iOS device, you delete the app from iphone and re install (loosing all data - forever)

If you are talking about 'registration id', you can change it and password on your admin web site

I'm talking about the one the parents use to log on when they go to iscorecast. I don't want old parents logging on if that makes sense.

Do u purchase Team Web site subscription? You get a unigue url for each subscription

If you DO NOT want any historic data, ( loose forwver) you can re install an iphone app and get a new device id code.. if you have android the steps are different..

If you NEED TO retain historic data, there you can . Post back for more info ir see faq

normally folks do not need to change device IDs.

I will summarize quickly how you can get a new device ID and retain all data ON AN IPHONE

A) Save Existing Database to Server,
1) Register Existing Device to email address (Option > Register)
2) Option > export existing device data to store your database on admin server
3) Write down existing device ID and Password (for future reference, just in case)

B) Remove existing version of APP and Download new version of App

C) New installation...
1) go to Option > Admin Web site, and get new ID and set password
2) Write down new ID and password (just in case)
3) Option > export to initialize new admin site
4) Register new device to same email address as before (Option > Register)

D) Copy data
1) log into Admin site with Email Address, (http://my.iscorecentral.com)
2) Click the Accounts tab,
3) click Manage Data button
4) Select "Copy" next to the OLD Device Data base, then select "To Here" for the New Device ID you want to copy the data to
A few confirmation boxes will appear to be sure you really want to transfer the data
5) After the data has been transferred, do an Options -> Import to retrieve the data to your device

I have emailed for additional help and have not gotten a reply. I am willing to lose all data to get anew customer ID. But when I delete the app from my iPad then go to the App Store to reinstall it, it just starts me where I left off. It seems like someone needs to wipe my account associated w my email or something. Please advise. I really need a new account in the next few days. Thank you!
