TIPs: How to Edit Plays After the Game - FAQ
Re: Editing a play at end of game.
You could edit the stats. Increase HR and RBI by 1, decrease single by 1.

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
League has a 5 run limit per inning. In the third, bases loaded, with a 3-1 count, passed ball allows two runners to score resulting in 4th and 5th runs so inning ends. The passed ball was a strike so same batter should have led off next inning. however, i mistakenly scored it as a ball so it walked the runner and when 4th inning started the next batter was up. i didnt realize i was one batter ahead in the lineup the whole next inning because the kids were wearing sweatshirts over their jerseys, so the whole rest of the game i am off by one batter.
I tried using pitch by pitch to fix it but it won't let me change the ball four to a strike, or even one of the earlier balls in that count. How can I adjust this to correct the play by play, box score and stats?

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
This is a situation where the easiest fix is likely going to be rescoring the game. iScore stores the information with the lineup position, and it sounds like you were entering data in the wrong lineup position throughout the rest of the game.
The best bet is to email yourself the player card and play by play, and/or use the iScorecast for complete game details, and rescore it as a new game. It should only take 10-15 minutes to re-enter a complete game using the scorecard and/or pitch by pitch listings.

Agree with support...rescore
Mbcowan,, Sorry to say some mis taps, are just too problematic to correct in pitch by pitch editor. Your scenerio is one, You could manipulate alot in the pitch by pitch with lots of double switches, but it would be much more time consumeing, confusing and more frustrating than rescoring.. 10-15 minutes is a good estimate to rescore a game,.

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
Thanks for the quick responses. So if I am going to rescore the game, i guess the scorecard will show the hit locations, but how can I recreate the pitch sequence and location? Is that reflected on the play by play?

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
If you are using iOS, you can go to the Pitch by Pitch listing and there is an email option from there that includes pitch locations and pitch types.
If not using iOS, you can use the iScorecast to see pitch locations and pitch types. If you did not iScorecast the game, just go to Game Manager, select the game, scroll to "iScorecast Synchronize" and tap that. Then go to http://iscorecast.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and enter your customer ID and you will be able to view the game on the iScorecast server.

Re: Editing a play at end of game
I missed a out in the fourth inning of a 7 inning game. I was doing subs and missed the play. I scored it a hit and error since that is what I thought it was and the info I got was not clear. I did not realize the mistake until the end of the inning and so I kept going figuring I could fix it later but it does not let me change the hit to an out.
What is the fix for this?

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
That is correct, you can not change hits to outs as that could have adverse consequences on the game (you would then have 4 outs in the inning).
You can manually override the stats to correct this. Go to Game Manager, select the game, select Batting Stats, tap the 1B value for the player and reduce it by 1 manually.

Re: Editing a play at end of game.
That stinks. I ended the inning early so there are only 2 outs in that inning...it would be better to allow users to make that kind of change even under a "you know can mess up this whole game mode" I would rather have that option since this is 10x the works editing all the players involved.
Re: Editing a play at end of game.
You can manually edit the stats taking a hit away from that batter.
