I'm new to using max preps. I've gone to the admin website and downloaded the file but I'm still not clear about how to upload that file into max preps.

You will probably want to contact them about how to upload the file to their site. We provide the file in their format, but do not control the actual uploading.

Rparazine,
I use MaxPreps for basketball but the upload principals are the same. First you need to have the coaches login or admin rights to input stats. Assuming you have that after you log in click stats, input score by quarter(inning) then down near the bottom is a button "save and import" click that and follow the directions.
I have not import in a very long time so I am not familiar with directions after you click "save and import". I have chosen to manually input basketball stats for various reasons.

New MaxPreps question. I know how to get the file from my admin site and how to upload. I usually do that on my PC, but it is down right now, and we have a game tonight. Anybody know how to save (and find) a MaxPreps upload .txt file to your iPad, and then upload to MaxPreps through your IPad?

What is down right now? Your computer? Unfortunately iPads do not have a way of uploading text files to websites since you can't even save a text file to your device --- only Images and Videos.

My computer is the one down. But you answered my question - I can't upload through my iPad, which is what I wanted to do.
