Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
Most youth leagues playing 12U and below (and even some 14U) play all players bat, so it does make sense for them. Even in youth teams made up of 12 or 13 players with 9 batting, the majority of a team bats, so having to only change 3 or 4 players to not batting also seems to be the right default.
We will add an option so you can specify whether the added players should be marked as Batting = YES or Batting = NO by default... watch for the update later tonight.

Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
There is now a checkbox above the input box when doing a batch add called "Batting by Default?" It is defaulted to checked (which is the way the site currently works), but you can Uncheck it when adding players if you want them set to Batting = NO.

Speedy enhancement. Nice way to give user choice. Thanks FTM .
Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
I am trying to batch add some players this morning before I head to the park. I am not able to anyone via the web interface. Nothing happens when I hit the Add Batch button. I am using Chrome. I just tried Internet Explorer and it worked fine.

This is a big improvement. Thank you.FTMSupport wrote:There is now a checkbox above the input box when doing a batch add called "Batting by Default?"
Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
Has there been any further thought on allowing xls or csv files to upload rosters to the online database (and then subsquently download to the iPhone or iPad)?

Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
We do not have those options right now, but may add them in the future. For now, you can format your data to be copy/pasted into the "batch add" capabilities of the Admin Website for a faster way of entering roster information than hand typing each player.

Re: Can I import roster from excel or word
Is there a way when copying/pasting into the "batch add" section to also include things like the player's number and batting/throwing right or left-handed?
