"New Season" Tab Upgrade

Post by Tbielec » Sat Mar 29, 2014 12:47 pm

I see a recent update or improvement in iScore Baseball which includes a "New Season" tab in the Team Manager section.....using an iPad. As I am currently planning to create a 2014 Roster for my U-18 ball team. As the 2013 season was the first year using iScore Baseball, I am wondering what the best way to begin a new season would be when many of the same players are returning, but many have graduated or quit the team. I don't want to delete the 2013 stats....but I also don't want to duplicate players or data where not necessary. I am familiar with the function of the League Manager....at this point I have two leagues setup as Team 2013 and a separate league as Team 2014.

How might I go about using the "New Season" tab and setting up the Team 2014 league in establishing the upcoming season.

Thanks,

I tend to make a new team for new year. ( i prefer over making players "inactive")

(rename last year team to .. to something Like . TEAM NAME -2013)

The new create league / tournament.. feature. .. will let you mark players to be in active and create a new league and assign them at same time, bit for me, I like having last year team in Team Manager and This year team too. take a few minutes longer to add the players but once that one time effort is done, I find it more intuitive for me..
