We have submitted iScore Baseball v3.54 for iPhone and iPad to Apple, and it is now awaiting their approval.

This release attempts to address the issues Apple introduced with iOS6 that can cause a slowdown after prolonged usage.

There is a new IO6.0.1, is there any new issues with that IO? I am afraid if I upgrade to this new IO it may bring new problems with Iscore.
Please advise if it is clear to upgrade.
Thanks.

Should be fine. There is a new iScore out today as well that should help with iOS6.

I currently have version 3.54114. I have noticed significant slow downs lately especially when scoring a second game. I score using an ipad2 running 6.01.

What can I do or try to fix this?

Thanks...love the product

We expected 3.54 to help address the issue. At this point we feel it has to be an issue like they had when iOS 4.0 first came out where there were issues in iOS itself that were causing every application to leak memory. If you really want to help test that theory, we would recommend force closing all running applications (double tap the home button to reveal the apps that are running along the bottom, press and hold one of the running apps until it starts shaking, then press the "minus" sign on each one to close them).

Next do a full reboot of your device by pressing and holding the Home button and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears and your device restarts. Then try scoring a game. This gets you as close to "running clean" as possible.

We would also be curious if you have iScorecast and/or Twittercast enabled. There have been some issues with internet connectivity and iOS6 that could possibly come into play as well. If you do not need to use the iScorecast and/or Twittercast, it would be interesting to know if running in Airplane Mode helps at all (would have to do this from the start to be sure no backed up network events are pending).

We will continue looking for anything we can do to improve the situation from our end, but it seems we may be at the mercy of Apple to release a fix to iOS6 to truly remedy the issue.

I'll give that a try. I'll be scoring a double header this Friday. I do need the score cast feature but do not use twitter so I'll try turning that off.
