Version 1.01.06 Submitted to App Store

Post by FTMSupport » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:26 pm

Version 1.01.06 has been submitted to the App Store and is awaiting approval from Apple. This is the first update to iScore since its initial release, and will address many of the concerns customers have given us feedback on including the following:

* Improved layout and more details in end of game box score reporting

* Statistics views now include pitching stats in addition to batting stats

* We now show "team batting stats" so you can see how the team did as a whole

* Added ability to end games early (due to time or rain for example)

* Added ability to end an inning early (max runs scored for an inning in youth sports for example)

* Errors can now be assigned to players at any time, not just when the ball is in play. For example, a foul ball that should have been caught can now be scored as Foul Ball, then assign error to the player that dropped it. This can have an impact on earned runs for the inning.

* Ability to delete old / unwanted games

* Performance improvements (especially when you have a large number of games)

* Status indicators so you know when network activity is taking place or data is being saved/loaded

* Ability to enter pitch location, speed, and type. Our next update will have pitch location reporting, so any data entered in this version will carry over to the future versions that make better use of the data.

* Added the ability to skip a batter. Examples of this are a coach benching a player in youth sports and having to play short players, a player gets injured and there is not someone to replace him in the lineup, etc.

* Bug Fixes - we have identified and fixed a couple issues that sometimes caused crashes

Looks like some great changes. How long does it typically take for apple to approve a submitted update?

We have had it done in as little as 4 days, and as long as 10 (we have heard of people taking longer, but so far this was the longest for us)... so it should be any day now on this release.

If it's not too much trouble, please post here if you see that it has been approved. I've subscribed to this topic so I can keep up with updates. Thanks a bunch!!!
