iScore Baseball for Android - Tablet Optimized version

The Tablet Optimized update for the Android Version of iScore Baseball is now available in the Android Marketplace. The version is v3.30.

As noted elsewhere (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4990" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), the updates are for "xLarge Displays" --- Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, etc. The main scoring screen can now rotate between Landscape and Portrait, and has added functionality to use the extra available screen space.

You can still use the old UI on the large tablets by going to Options, and selecting Screen Mode = Small.

I do not have an android table to test it out on, but if it adopted the iPad feature set . Adroid fans are in for a grand update and if i understand android marketplace, the update will be free to prior iscore purchasers. .

Love the updated version, this is going to be a great tool during and after games.

I had emailed a force close problem with scorecards that I traced to an SD card mounting error. By the way I am using an HP Touchpad booting into android. Looking to upgrade the android os to ICS but so far not necessary.

Found the update on my xoom last night...I've been waiting for some time and am very excited with the enhancements!!
Great job to all who were involved.

College baseball started over the weekend and I DVR'd a couple of games and am looking forward to running the app through the the paces of these games before my high school season starts.

Does it work on the Nook Color?

The Nook Color is not an "xLarge Display" (10" tablet), so will not be able to take advantage of the tablet optimized features. The dimensions of a Nook Color are more in line with a phone, so the standard phone interface is what would be used on that device.

Will an update be coming for the kindle fire?

Yes, we are in final testing for a Kindle Fire optimized update and hope to submit it to Amazon any day now.

I am assuming that the app is "smart'" being that I have a 7" Samsung Tab and in options I do not have the option to switch between large display and small display because the app knows I do not have a xlarge display? I am guessing I gotta find me a 10.1" to get that option. Just Curious presently running v 3.4, just updated this weekend.
