2012 MLB Rostes

Post by FTMSupport » Thu Jan 26, 2012 8:05 pm

The 2012 MLB Rosters are now available as an In App purchase for iPhone / iPod Touch devices.

We are still waiting on an approval from Apple for them to become available on the iPad as an In App purchase, but you can always get them from our website as well with a credit card or PayPal instead of In App.

Are they available for Android devices yet? Needing them for the Kindle Fire, so I can score Yankees games.

Yes, they are available for Android. You will need to purchase from the Website for Android and you will be given an Activation code to enter in the Add Ons screen in Android. Here is the link to the website:

I would love to purchase the MLB 2012 roster addon, but PayPal is far too draconic for my tastes. They wish to have access to my online banking username and password and if that wasn't enough, they want me to mail them a copy of my driver's license. This I will not do. Is there any alternate means of payment? I love your app on my Fire, and would love to use it to score Astros games, but the addon would be a great benefit toward that end. Thanks for making a great app! I scored yesterday's win and in review the play by play is every bit as good as "the big guys" :-)

For the Fire, that is currently the only way to purchase the MLB Add On.

I love the app on my iPhone and iPad. A great companion for any avid baseball fan. I would love to buy the MLB roster add-on but find it too expensive. Any chance to try a preview of the add-on or to get a discount? Would love to recommend it to others!

That's disappointing  Are you considering alternative payors? I can't imagine many of your Android/Fire customers will be willing to give PayPal their online banking username/password ... would you? I ask seriously because I WANT to give you my money :D

We very rarely get a complaint about PayPal. We will likely be adding an "in app purchase" option to Fire in the future (they have been beta testing this capability with other sellers). Sorry to hear you have had poor PayPal experiences.

If you used In App purchase on the iPhone and iPad separately, then yes, Apple will charge you twice. You can request a refund from Apple.

In the future, you can register your devices on our servers at http://my.iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and from the Account tab, for devices that are registered with the same email, you can add the MLB Rosters to your additional devices there at no charge.
