Re: VERSION 2.0 SUBMITTED TO APPLE TODAY!
Certainly unusual for us. We have seen cases in development forums of developers having waited longer, but this is the longest it has taken for one of our updates.
Apple updates their "featured" lists every Tuesday... maybe the great new graphics will actually get us featured.

Well, I was thinking that maybe, if FTM resubmitted last Thursday, we will see the update this Thursday (7 days)
But then again, I don't know what to think anymore! There has to be an "iScore upgrade anxiety disorder", and I have it!
It would be nice to see it today, though...

What is the binary they asked for and y would they need it again, and have they made any hits to your site since then? Seems if they asked for it again they found a problem!

Re: VERSION 2.0 SUBMITTED TO APPLE TODAY!
They asked us to upload the exact same binary again. They said they corrupted the binary on their end. They did not say how, or give any more detail than that, just that they needed us to upload it again. They did not notify us of any problems they have found. We have not seen any new hits from them on our servers, but that does not mean they have not been testing. There are only certain things that would hit our servers (sending emails, export/importing databases, running an iScorecast). So it is very possible they are testing other functionality. We are still hopeful that their saying they would "expedite the review" truly means it is being expedited, and are expecting approval any day.

We sent an email to Apple asking what kind of timeframe we are looking at for this "expedited" review, and all we got back is a form letter:
We've received your application inquiry. Each app submitted to Apple has different capabilities, features, and complexity, which means that individual review times vary. Once the application review process has been completed, you will receive an email notification.

This is what FTM is up against: I read an article today (link below) that the app store just rescinded the license of some joker developer who has submitted, over time, some 900+ apps, many of which are stuffed with copyright violations. They are looking at another who has submitted around 2000 apps! (No word on why they did not catch the copyright violations when these 900 apps were submitted in the first place.)

You might want to start working on a port to Android!
Wow! Can the Apple Approval process suck any more? Blackhole anyone?
What are they slow rolling iScore so another company can finish their scoring app for the iPhone?
What gives Apple? How about some customer service instead of canned emails!
Eagle Dad
