Is a pause button in the works for rain delays? Being in Florida we get small delays all the time and once you go I to delay the time keeper is useless. Unless of course you pay attention and you subtract how long you had stoppage.

We get requests for this occasionally, but it is challenging for several reasons. We do not "time" the game. We show the current time minus the start of game time. If we were to try and introduce a rain delay, then we would have to be able to handle any number of delays and would have to actually switch to a "timer". The problem with a "timer" is that if you exit the application, the timer stops running. So all we can really do is subtract current time from start time to have something that works even across shutdowns of the application.
In the end, the game time is not the "official" time anyway. Only the umpire can decide the official time of the game. We provide the data as informational, but you would never be able to use it to convince an umpire that they are wrong. (In fact, we had a game called for time that actually had about 4 minutes left this weekend while our team was at bat and in the middle of a comeback rally. Coach argued with umpire, but never helps. Umpire has final say.)

...would still be nice to have a Rain Delay button. So play by play and scoreboard gets an R, for team web site and game manager. kind of annoying in rain season when we have games on scoreboard "in process" / rain delay over night..
ideally we could start stop and pause a game clock too. even if unofficial.

Or have a timer that I can start so I at least know how long the rain delay was and then I can subtract it from the game time.
