When will version 5.x be available for Android?
Re: When will version 5.x be available for Android?
I emailed the developers and they said they are only planning updates for iOS at this point.
I am a little concerned that they have dropped support for Amazon Kindle Fire which is my main device. So it looks like I have to use my phone or family iPad to score now.

Support has not been dropped on Android. It still works just as it always has and is compatible with the iOS version. It just does not have the facelift that iOS versions got.

Has iScore stopped development on the Android platform, with regards to iScore baseball?

Re: When will version 5.x be available for Android?
Perhaps i can add some extra commentary for context..
Historically, iscore has not pre announced plans and timing for product launches and/ or updates. This has been a company policy since version 1.0 for iOS and Android. For example, iOS v5 facelift this month was not pre announced. That is their standard mode of operation. I would not expect the developers to have disclosed any time tables.
That said, iscore does respond to bug fixes from this forum as fast as practical given the nature and type of the issue. Bugs for both platforms get support as long as not caused by a jailbroken iOS device or non standard andorid implementation. Apple and IOS devices have tighter hardware standards making issues more consitent and often more rapidly resolved. Android devices however can have more variants and some non standard hardware implementations (kindle notorious) that can take more time or be issues w hardware not software. But both platforms get support.
I would also add that v5.0 for iOS changes were nearly all cosmetic, ie not feature enhancemts except for just a couple things: just released 'no strike pitch' for little league and the spray chart drop down menu controls on player card. And availability of 2017 MLB/NCAA add on package subscription .
