Same player on both teams (Retrosheet)

I am using Retrosheet Historic Teams in which I play two teams from different eras playing (Strat-O-Matic) which have the same player on both teams from different years. (Such as George Hendrick, '72 A's vs '82 Cardinals. He played on both teams).
I have been merging players as to create historic lifetime stats for those players. (I did merge Hendrick)
My issue is that stats are not fully recorded and not shown properly or at all in the box score.
Is this something iscore may be willing look into? I have noticed others have addressed the same issue. And this would help us gamers out greatly. (As I know there are many dice rollers who use the app to keep track of stats).
