iOS 8.0 issue?

Post by Melindave » Sat Sep 20, 2014 8:12 am

Since upgrading to iOS 8.0 on my iPhone 5c, I no longer can edit a new game start time and also do not see the number of people watching my iscorecast. Are these known issues that will be fixed in the next update?

I'm on an iphone 5, ios 8 and moving my players into their batting order because the "handle" to move them disappears randomly (at least it appears random).

Eventually, moving others around or closing out the app, and other things randomly brings the "handle" back.

We submitted an update for iOS8 several days ago (before iOS8 was available), and it is still awaiting Apple's approval. We hope it is approved soon.

I just traded in my iPad3 and bought a new iPad mini. The trade-in procedure was to back up the old device to iCloud, then completely erase it. When I got on wifi, I restored from my iCloud account to my new iPad Mini. Some of the old apps did not come across to the new device, e.g. Kindle ereader, and iScore. I have solved the Kindle problem by re-downloading it to my new device. But it's not so easy with the iScore app. How do I get the app onto my new iPad Mini and restore it's data? I think I exported all of the data from the old device to the web site earlier this year. And I have iOS 8. Thanks

I also experienced severe issues with Gamecast on iOS 8. I thought it was the iScore app having trouble communicating with the server, but it may have just been Safari on iOS8 not displaying properly.

The play-by-play was showing, but the score was missing, player names were absent on the field view, no pictures, etc. Really the only thing working was the play-by-play.

Now that the games have ended and were exported, the full game cast seems to work from my laptop, but still not from my phone.

My wife's phone (still on iOS 7) shows the Gamecast fine.

If you can email a link to the game that is not working with iScorecast on your device to support@iscoresports.com, we can take a look to see what is going on.
