Can another owner of app register for data copy?

My dad owns iscore and we are trying to copy the data from my device to his using data share. He is logging into his admin website and registering his device using the same email as I used. However, I have not seen any registration emails come my way. This should work correct? We both own iscore but we should be able to copy data between our device using this mechanism correct? Thank you.

register both devices to the same email
( you will see it under option > registration on iOS devices)
Then log into admin site > account tab > manage data button > that let's you copy a complete data base from one device to another ( wiping out the target device data completely)

If you just want up share a few games or teams . use option data share
