Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
Android version, running on Nook HD+:
While scoring a game, displayed the in-game stats for the current pitcher. Doing so generated stats that seemed to ignore the last hitter and/or last out. Example: After 6.0 innings pitched, the app displayed 5.2, etc.

Re: Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
If you view the stats, they are recalculated at the time you view them. If it is showing 5.2 innings, then maybe you used Misc -> End Inning prior to an inning being complete (due to run rule or otherwise). A pitcher's innings pitched are calculated as outs / 3, and the decimal part is shown as .0, .1, or .2.

Re: Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
I'm sorry but no. I've seen this issue multiple times, across multiple games, with multiple pitchers, without ever using the "End Inning" option.

If you can do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com with a sample game where this is occurring, we can take a look at your data to see what is going on. Or if you can give us steps to reproduce the issue, we can try on a device here.

Re: Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
I also often have incorrect game stats for pitchers. Sometimes there is an extra out, sometime not enough. What I see in the Pitch-by-Pitch is correct, but the pitching line has an incorrect number of Batters Faced and Outs.
You would think the app would check this after the end of every half inning before moving on to the next one. After all, there's nothing more basic about baseball than three outs in an inning.

@LBWood and @tabe
This may sound a bit odd... But indulge me for a minute..
Please say where (what keystrokes) are you using to view stats?
Is it directly from "scoring 'diamond' screen"? Or game info screen Or team manager, or game manager, or player manager screens?
Because while a game is still in process ( no 'game over' in
scoring 'diamond' screen) .. Where you are viewing stats from Can matter..
While a game is in process .. Are you seeing inconsistency in stats When viewing stats from scoring screen?
On phone , scoring 'diamond' screen > tools icon/button (bottom right) > spreadsheet icon...
On tablet, scoring 'diamond' screen > Spreadsheet icon (bottom row, 3rd icon from right end)...
That is the way to access stats while a game is in process, and should reflect exactly what has occurred ...
........
However, If while a game is still in progress and you exit the main scoring 'diamond' screen.. You could view stats from game/team/ player manager and those views may be out of synch (need recalc) because the game is not 'final' . from game info screen ( ie team batting, team pitching, or team fielding lines) you can use the recalc button (upper right corner) to 'force' game in process calculation.. Same goes for checking team stats from team manager while a game is in process ..
Hope above makes sense... Please reply back how you were accessing stats when you saw the inconsistency

Re: Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
As for me, when the game is over, I have exited the diamond, and I am back in the game screen, I always check the pitching stats for both teams. It's frequently the case that both BF and O are not correct. Sometimes Recalc can fix it, usually not. I've even got scorecards where the out sequence for the half inning is red circles that go 1... 2... 4!

@LBwood. thanks for the follow up. Any examples you can email support can help identify if a local or systemic issue for the community.
the stats should be corrected with a reCalc, (unless something has gotten corrupted in your data base, it has happened before and iscore has fixed for users)
can't say i have ever seen 4 outs on a score card.

Re: Incorrect in-game stats for pitchers
I sent Support a scorecard a week ago or so and exported my data for them to look at. That one was fixed with a Recalc and I guess they thought it was resolved. Since then I've found others that are impervious to Recalc.
You're right, a fourth out on a scorecard looks pretty weird.
