Quick Roster creates multiple versions of same name

I am not sure if this is an intended feature or a future enhancement needed but by using the quick rosters to create players, I end up creating the same player over and over again which, in my opinion, creates an unmanageable list of players. For instance, using the Player / Letter combo, I create Player A every time I use the Quck Roster which creates a mess for reporting anyways and I don't care about the individuals stats of a quick roster team. I was hoping that I could use the quick roster to auto create a team but not create the same player over and over again. I understand that I could use a unique player code for each quick roster but that also creates lists of players names that I don't care about and don't need the reporting for. It would be ideal if I could create a Quick Roster using the Player / Letter or Number combo and it would first look to see if those players existed and then use those names or ask if I want to create a unique set of players.

The quick roster players should not be showing in the team list unless you manually change the name (thus turning them into "real" players). Right now, only players whose last names start with numbers do not show up in the team list. We have a fix for the next release (2.0.3) that will make it so Quick Roster players that used the alphabetic sequence will not show up in the Player List either unless you update their name.
Another technique many people use is to just create a single team called "Opponent" that you re-use for all games. Then you can see cumulative stats for the opponent as a whole instead of each team having their own entry.

additional comment, since specifically mentioned Quick Roster "Player A" (vs Player 1)....
... In the current version, there is a small unintended difference in alpha (Player A, Player B, Player C etc) vs numeric (not player 1, player 2, etc) Quick Roster Players showing up in player manager. Quick Roster Alpha players currently show up in player manager until viewed and then they disappear, this is reportedly a bug being corrected in next update to match the intentional behavior described by FTM for Numeric Players where quick roster players do not show up at all in player manager until their names are edited...
