Reported earned runs - stat sheet vs scorebook

Post by VVHSDoug » Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:35 am

We recently had a high scoring game where we beat are opponents 18 to 6. The stat sheet for their pitching correctly showed 17 earned runs scored against their pitchers. However the scorebook printout indicated only 7 earned runs and 11 unearned runs. That is if I remember correctly that the highlighted runs scored in the scorebook are unearned vs the solid ones that are earned.

Just thought you might want to check that out.

Thanks. I really like your program and it has been a big asset to me over hand scoring and stat reporting at the high school level. I figure it saves me about 2 to 3 hours a game in stat reporting while being much more accurate.
