Out of sequence game

Post by W6ORZ » Tue Jul 21, 2009 1:33 pm

OK. Somehow I broke it! I've been scoring all of the York Revolution (Atlantic League) games I've attended. I LOVE THIS APP!!!

However, between innings, I sometimes exit the app to swap e-mail with the radio play-by-play announcer (ya gotta love minor league baseball for that capability!). During one game I accidently seelcted a prior game instead of the current game when I went back to scoring. When I looked at the screen it said Game Over. Dumb me thought I'd managed to hit the End Game button - so I hit Undo. As soon as I did that I realized I was in an earlier game. I also knew that we ended that game with the last batter striking ouot so I added the final strike which ended the game, exited and loaded the correct game. However, that July 8th game now sshows up as the first game on the Score Games menu and in Game Manager. It says 7/8/09 Camden Riversharks at York Revolution - 7/12/09 08:00 PM. I believe I made the mistake during the July 12th game.

How do I get this game back into proper chronological order? Under Game Dates it says "Game has not started" instead of the start and finish time shown for all the other games. On other games I can change those values. I can't change this one.

I'm sure there's a simple solution. But, I haven't figured it oout yet.

Did you try and edit the start and end time manually in the game manager? the sort is based on the start time and date (i thought). I also thought i recalled being able to edit the start and end timnes now in v 1.65 with the 'price is right' dial menus....

That was the first place I looked. Unfortunately, that option wasn't available. After I exported my data, the FTM folks fixed whatever was wrong with it and contacted me. As soon as I imported my data the game showed up in the right sequence and I was able to tweek the time to the correct start/finish. Don't know what I did but somehow skunked up the data for that particular game. That's the only problem I've run into and I've used it to score every York home game since 6/25. I love this app!
