Stealing Home then 3rd non-forced out

Post by cprarie » Mon Jun 29, 2009 4:53 am

Hi,
Had a game over the weekend where the runner on 3rd stole home, and was safe, then (during the same play) the runner on 1st stole 2nd and was picked off.

With iScore, I entered the stolen base at home first then the pick off on 2nd next, but iScore did not record the run. Did I miss an option?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris. I just tried to reproduce by starting a new game:

1. Player hits triple
2. Player walks
3. KO
4. KO (so now i have 1st and 3rd, 2 outs)
5. Touch runner on third, Safe, Home, Stolen Base
6. It asks what happened to runner on first, I touch Out, Second, Picked Off (or Caught Stealing), then touch positions that touched the ball (C, 2B), Done.

iScore is correctly showing the run scored, and the inning is now changed.

I did this with version 1.65.

Are you using a different version? Are these the steps you followed?

If you did follow these steps, and the run is not showing as scored, you can Export your database to us, and we will take a look. Here is a link that describes how to export your data to us:

Yeah, that worked for me also. Guess we have to blame the darn user...

Thanks for the quick response!
