walk stat wrong for pitcher due to mid AB swap?

Issue:

Walk total for starting pitcher=5 (incorrect)
Walk total for relieving pitcher=1 (correct)

walk total for offensive team=5.

Actual total should have been:
starting pitcher-4
relief pitcher-1

I don't know if this had anything to do with it but they shared an AB. Relief pitcher came in with a 2-1 count but struck out the batter.

Solution: Overrode stats.

Scorecard corroborates my report. The other team only walked 5 total times in the game. 4 from the starter and once a couple innings later by the reliever.

MLB rules spell out exactly which pitcher gets credit based on count at time of change

Developers will need to research and fix the code to credit correctly on the 2-1 change

The batter STRUCK OUT. It shouldn't have made a difference. Why was there an extra walk? If you go through the scorecard you can see the starter walked 4 threw 4+. The relief pitcher walked 1. However, the final stats had the starter with FIVE and the reliever with his one.

Your original post topic title made it sound like the at bat (shared by two pitchers) ended with a walk - and it assigned to both pitchers. Absent that , Developers have nothing to research without being able to review your data..

I understand. I was just suggesting some possible wildcard that could have thrown it off because I never saw this before.

You can email support@iscoresports.com with your device ID and the specific game with ‘extra’ walk and they can research

I would but I already overrode the stat. Thanks.

Edit to say - I did email support.
