Today while broadcasting our games, all of our viewers using mobile devices were being "redirected"/forced to have to download the iscorecentral app to view live broadcasts. This hasn't happened before. We have our teams' games linked to our baseball homepage and folks would just click on a game to view it automatically in iscorecast whether on a mobile device or on a computer. Did this just change?? How do we get back to allowing them to view it in iScorecast viewer, not iscorecentral app?

We've been working to improve the overall experience for our iScore users, by simplifying and centralizing iScorecasts through our iScore Central app.

For just $4.99 for a 3 month subscription users will not only get live play-by-play of the game as it's being scored, but can also access the audio simulcast while on the go. Additionally, this subscription allows for personalized notifications as well as ad-free viewing.

It's important to us to continually evolve our products and services to meet the needs of our customers. As such, we are currently working on a subscription option that will allow scorekeepers to purchase viewing for all their fans.

So...it sounds like my parents and viewers will now need to PAY to even "watch" our games?? They don't care about the audio, but they do still want to see the play-by-play and they particularly complained to me about the user interface on iscorecentral. This just literally changed overnight with no warning. When is the option going to be available for scorekeepers to purchase for their team broadcasting so individuals watching do not have to pay? (I have 3 high school teams I manage broadcasting for). We have games again today so I need to communicate with them how they can see the game.

You can still watch for free on iscoretv.com. Just do a search for your team. The interface is not as good for viewing on phone but you can zoom in on play by play in the corner of the screen corner and watch that. It works well on computers.

@ MMDOW. this was new news to me also. It appears program is evolving with changing competitive landscape and commercial viability.

What i can offer to you and your parents/fans and just validated is as of today they can still watch the "traditional" iscorecast from a Computer Web Browser. (I assume that will continue to be supported and evolved but i know as of right now still valid viewing experience).

the mobile 'redirect' on iPhone and iPad is now only the "iscore central App viewer version".
I have not tested on Android mobile devices yet (but will assume same story) (be interested if anyone knows on Android, as the iOS viewer app is more recently updated than the android app. ).

@ Team mom, I just tested isocretv.com on iPhone and it 'redirected' to Central Viewer App viewing too. I do not have iPad with me at the moment.. Can you validate iscoretv.com works on iPhone or iPad for traditional scorecast viewer?

Just tested on iPad too and redirected me as well to iScorecentral - will not let me view on iscorecast viewer.

sorry I guess that loophole has been closed for phones. Still works on computers. Not sure about ipad.

fyi... as of the new releases today (iScore Central v1.71 and iScore Baseball v5.107), any game for a team that has an iScore Team Website no longer requires an individual subscription to view in iScore Central and under Watch Game in iScore Baseball. There will be a little "unlocked" icon in the game listing indicating the games that can be watched without a subscription.
