"BI" for "RBI" use in emailed game boxscore (answered, as intended)

Postby OhioTex » Sun Jul 16, 2017 6:12 am

@ support ,

for email game box score, .... the "RBI" column heading seems to have lost its "R". "BI" is a bit confusing at first glance. suspect you will want to put this on list for future fix.

Re: typo in Email of Game Box Score.. "RBI" column heading (pending @support investigation/confirmation )

It is not lost. "BI" is the standard notation used in newspapers to save the column since it is a fixed with font. You can see examples from newspapers here - https://www.poynter.org/2015/the-slow-d ... rs/372171/

Yet RBI not BI is used everywhere else in iScore, mlb, ncaa, baseball-reference.com, Si, espn, sbnation etc.

been such a long time since i relied on the sporting news for stats and my daily boxscores from newspapers Houston chronicle, and dallas morning news, i would have bet they had used RBI..oh well.
