MLB New Data not working (answered)

I need help I go to add on . On the iPad and then I hit new data and it will not update the MLB Rosters

Some follow up questions ..

1) Did you 'just' purchase the MLB package? Sometimes it taks a couple hours to process new subscription.

2) when you do OPTIONS>ADD ON> NEW DATA
Does it say " 2017..." (ie, not prior year).?
When you Tap 'New Data' Does it 'spin' and then change to "current"?
If not, "current" check your internet connection.. I just tested on my iOS device, and servers seem to be working fine.

3) after 'getting new data', and beung "current" you should have all major league teams rosters listed under team manager ( make sure under league manager, you have the MLB leagues enabled, not off ). Do you have MLB teams under team manager? Do teams have player rosters or blank?

4) game day line ups, won't come out till a few hours before a game. Use 'sync' (upper left button) on line up screen, at game time. Is this your issue?

P.S probably unrelated, but a few days back there was a MLB data feed issue that has since been resolved, and have not had any reports of failure again,

I just tested on two MLB games for today and worked fine.

I did two ways, with and without discover game.

dodgers vs Indians ten minutes before first pitch. I created a "new game" and added teams (ie not discover game).Then started to score game, and used Sync for each team at the intial line up screen and it matched the radio broadcast perfectly.

For mariners and twins, scheduled to start in an hour, i used Discover Game, and it loaded today line ups the same as indicated on MLB.com.

Bottom line, MLB data seems to be working as expected today, updating it both by "discover teams, create new game, sync bot line ups" and "discover game, sync both line ups"

If you can further describe your issues, be glad to help troubleshoot

It has not worked fine on my Ipad Pro for a week now. The MLB stats update on my Android phone with no issue. When I go to adds-ons on my Ipad it always says it is current, which it is not.

Unfortunately, as mentioned in prior post, MLB daily updates have been working fine for me.

but i did not try and score a MLB game yesterday. and too early to verify for today games.
however, i did just successfully do DISCOVER GAME for the 12:10 Nationals Marlins game and it retrieved in the game info ok, but then said line ups not available yet when i tried to do the line up sync. It is possible, (unlikely) you keep trying at times when third party data providers are having issues. I just tried MLB.com and i can not get it to pull up todays game scoreboards. (odd) ten minutes later i could.



I can tell by your post history, you are not a newbie to MLB subscription usage and have used for many years.

I am assuming you have tested your internet connection and have done some trouble shooting, can you describe in more detail. what you are experiencing and what you have tried?

FYI a week or so ago, there was an MLB data issue but it was resolved. perhaps you have similar symptoms, you can read about it here. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11967 make sure you do not have double team entry under team manager, (two angels, two Astros etc) . one team from Discover Team and another from Discover Game. one could be getting updated and you could be trying to use the other non - updated version.

I will try and test the Nationals Marlins game again in about an hour and see what i get

you can also email support@isocresports.com with your customer ID and see if they see something specific on their end.

I just synced line up for the 12:10 MLB nationals marlins game with no issues on my iOS device.
Line up matches exactly what i see on MLB.com and MLB At Bat broadcast.


Here are a couple troubleshooting pages you may want to look into As i mentioned in prior post, i know you are not a new user, please post back the specific steps you are taking and perhaps we can figure this out.

Ok here is what goes on:

1. If I go to add the options section it always says the MLB rosters are current. Up to a week ago it would say new data to download. I never get that message now. So did I miss some message were you no longer need to download updated data?

Can you check again to see if refresh is still disabled? Our provider has been a bit flaky the last few days, but we just forced an update and believe it should have gone through properly. We will continue to monitor it to see if we can find what caused it not to update a couple of times.

@bill0212- glad to hear working now

I noticed in your prior post, when you further explained your issue, it was with "options > add on > MLB > new data/current".

While that was not refreshing, did you happen to also try and "discover game > MLB game" or "discover > team > MLB team" ?. I ask, because "Discover Team" and Discover > Game" can still work even when "Option > add on > MLB> New Data/Current" is falsely reporting status . .to score an MLB game, I normally go straight to "Game Manager > Discover Game > MLB > score Game> sync BOTH line ups at line up screen and score" .

when i tested the other day (prior posts) I went straight to both Discovery methods Discover Game and Discover Team - and it worked. i do not think i thought to look under "options> add on" to see if that was "current" or "new data", (next time error reported, i will double check, to see if properly reporting ).
