Its great that the new update includes a USSSA import. Is there a reason the USSSA import doesn't include jersey numbers?

If the USSSA site has the jersey numbers, they should be included in the import. If you have an example of a team that has jersey numbers on the USSSA site but does not include them when importing to iScore, please send us the link to that team and we will take a look to see what is going on.

@support - I just did a quick test of a random team and found and example for you to investigate.

• USSSA site has names and jersey numbers, but Discover team does not show jersey numbers.
  (in fact I tried a number of random USSSA baseball and fast pitch softball teams by discover team from multiple states and divisions and could not find anyone with jersey numbers, i may have just been 'unlucky' in my random sample - but i suspect more systemic issue at work here).

Here is a specific team you can use to troubleshoot the problem:

• Team manager > Discover Team > USSSA > Baseball > California Southern > boys 14u AA > 2017> 643 baseball imperial (jason reed)
  (team id 2459280) Roster found exactly matches USSSA web site for player names but does not include any jersey numbers

P.S. I did not test any slow pitch teams but i would suspect similar issues

This should now be fixed if you try Discover Team again. The code was working right when you Discover Game for USSSA, but the code for Discover Team was not pulling in jersey numbers properly.

Note: If you already downloaded an opponent without jersey numbers and have not used team in any scored games, you may want to Delete team and re discover with jersey numbers .

I am having the same issue of no jersey numbers when discovering a game from Sports Engine. Android user.

We have not changed anything on the iScore side in regards to Sports Engine jersey numbers. We still grab them from the jersey_number field from their API. So perhaps they are not set for the teams you are discovering from, or Sports Engine has changed something (you can contact them and ask them about that).
