Hi, I was playing around with the app (love it), and noticed that when a batter reaches base due to an error, its actually asking me to do it twice. Then I looked at the 'pitch by pitch' stats, and its also a repeat. I dont have my iphone to show the exact message, but here's how to reproduce.
Example:
No one on base.
Batter A
1. tap 'in play'
2. screen prompt with batter showing 'safe at first', with options.
3. select 'error'
4. screen prompt to select which player caused 'error'
5. select pitcher
I would think it will be done here, but another screen prompt
6. screen shows, 'what happen to batter A?' (with safe at first and options again, pretty much identical to #2 above in my steps)
7. repeat steps 3 - 5 above
8. this time it completes.
You can then exit, and look at the pitch by pitch. it will indicate have two sentences, example again as I dont have the phone to give you the exact quote:
"Batter A reaches base on error by Pitcher. Batter A is safe at first on error by Pitcher"
Hope that helps, let me know if its not clear.
Thanks,
Johnny

Re: double entry when reach on base due to error
When you get to step 6 in your example select "hold up" instead.
That will end the play the way you are expecting.

Thanks for the reply. I saw that "held up" option, and did use it.
Maybe I'm still new, but why would it needs to pop that up for me to confirm/select 'held up'?

Re: double entry when reach on base due to error
Something could happen during that same play after batter takes 1st and before another pitch is delivered or time is called.
For example, batter gets to first on E6. While throwing the ball to pitcher 1B is mad and makes a bad throw and now batter advances to 2nd. Now you have a E3 and batter is at 2nd. I just tried this and it scores 2 errors, 1 on 6 and 1 on 3. Score book reflects the proper Error.
Or, batter has brain cramp and starts to run to 2nd and gets tagged out.
You have to do held up for every in play due to this potential. Once you get used to it, you will like it when you need it.
