Cannot Receive E-mails

I am having issues with receiving e-mails of game information. I have used the iScore baseball app on an iPad 4 for the past couple of years to score baseball games. After each game I e-mail the game information and stats to coaches and media. I e-mail those to myself first for final review before sending on to the others. Since yesterday I have been unable to receive any of those iScore e-mails. The e-mails appear to send (the "successful transmission" window pops up after sending), but never hit my inbox, or spam box for that matter. My iScore software on the iPad is updated, and I have tried powering down my iPad and rebooting before resending, to no avail. Also, I have tried sending these e-mails to various accounts with different e-mails providers - still none of them go through. Any ideas! Thanks!

We have had a couple reports of email not reaching @yahoo.com account holders (which it appears your email is an @yahoo.com email). Those same people tried with their @gmail.com accounts and they worked fine. So there appears to be something going on with Yahoo that is filtering the emails. We use Amazon SES as our email sender, so it is possible that Yahoo is blocking emails coming from Amazon Email servers, but if that is the case, then they are blocking a large percentage of emails right now as many websites use Amazon for their services.

fyi... you can try "white listing" the email address "DoNotReply@iscoresports.com" which is what we use for sending the emails. The following link shows how to white list email addresses for the major free email providers:

+1 with this issue. I can get it to send to my work email, but not my Yahoo email. It worked fine in the fall.

I have tried adding DoNotReply@iscoresports.com to contact (white)list in Yahoo to no avail.

Try asking yahoo why you are unable to receive emails. They are the only ones that seem to be blocking things for some reason. Let us know if you hear anything from them.

So I got an email from support@iscoresports.com pertaining to this thread (as I signed up for thread notifications). So Yahoo isn't blocking the domain.
Perhaps it's the way it's being sent. Is this forum using a different email "client" than the iScore app?

The emails you are not receiving come from Amazon SES which is one of the largest (if not the largest) email sender on the internet. Yahoo appears to be blocking (or doing something with) those for some reason. If yahoo sent us a "bounce" message, we could tell what is going on, but they are not doing that. They are accepting the emails as though they are being successfully delivered, and not sending us any indication otherwise. So we do not have any way of tracking down further information on why the email is not being delivered.

Update... Amazon knows about this issue and is working to resolve it. Here is a link on Amazon's site:

https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.js ... eID=608371

We would suggest using alternates to @yahoo.com (other free services includes gmail.com and outlook.com) until this is resolved, and possibly send complaints to yahoo to come up with alternatives (example would be to allow Whitelisting) so this does not happen again in the future.

It looks like Amazon and Yahoo have resolved this issue as of this morning.
