I realized that I did advanced by batter instead of error only after I completed the game. I went back and made the adjustment through Pitch by Pitch, but this does not effect the statistics or scorecard. I do not want the batter credited with 2 RBI when both runners advanced home via error. What can I do?

Did you tap the "Play" button after making the changes. This will force a recalulation of the game stats.

Yes, I did tap the "Play" button but the RBI are still credited to the batter that reached on error.

not kno ing the specific situation, the RBI may being assigned because it qualifies ...This may be a question of the underlying rules for RBI credited or not..

For example ,

MLB 10.4.
a) The official scorer shall credit the batter with a run batted in for every run that scores
...
(3) when, before two are out, an error is made on a play on which a runner from third base ordinarily would score.

But it was just answered above that we determine the outcome of the play by selecting Error when advancing the runners. I did this in Pitch By Pitch in Game Manage, since I initially made the mistake, but the Scorecard and Statistics were NOT updated. What am I missing? I don't want to have to go back into the game and undo all the changes until that play. Help!

I just did a sample game and it worked for me.

With runner on 3rd (nobody out)

In Play
Error - mark location - next
Touch Player committing error (3B in my example)
What happened to runner on 3rd?
Safe - Home - Error - Touch 3B again
What happened to runner on 1st?
Held Up

No RBI was credited.

I even tried this with the runner getting credit with a hit, but still assigning error on run.

Where are you looking for the stats? If you are looking on the Admin/Team website you must do another export/email.

in addition to exporting to update web stats. ..

recall: game stats sometimes need to be manually forced to recalc, when doing pitch by pitch editing.

how: force a recalc,. by getting back to game over screen..
(game manager > select game > play ) "Game over screen".
the game over screen is the 're calc' trigger. From here just hit exit...
