Crash on exit from scoring

Post by iscore@tragus.org » Mon Apr 19, 2010 3:10 am

This happened to me consistently during a game yesterday. While scoring the game I hit <Exit> to go check the play-by-play. Every time I did this the app would crash. I could restart and go back into the game without any problem. I tested it again later that night by rescoring the game and the only time it wouldn't crash is if I exit before entering any plays. I did not have a chance to reboot the phone so it may be simply a memory issue.

This is definitely a memory issue. We are able to reproduce in our testing tools using a memory error simulator that Apple provides. If we go into the scoring screen and force a low memory condition (with Apple's tool), then when exiting, it will crash. If you do a full reboot of the device, this should not happen. Thank you.
