pitching chart graphic opposite in play by play

Post by Stockmoose16 » Sun Apr 18, 2010 12:53 am

I've selected the view from "behind the pitcher" for the pitching chart (so I'm looking at the catcher). The problem is, in the play-by-play section, the pitching chart is always from the catcher's view (looking at pitcher). This is very confusing, because if I log a pitch in the chart on the inside corner, and then later look back in the play-by-play to evaluate that
pitch's effectiveness, it will show up on the OUTSIDE corner. The play-by-play view should stay consistent with the pitch chart view, otherwise people will make the mistake of throwing the outside fastball when the inside fastball was what was charted.

We will look into making the pitch by pitch view match whatever your current selection is for the data entry (behind pitcher or behind catcher) for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.
