Fat finger, wishing for Cancel option

during the game today, I was attempting to change pitchers. I accidentally touched the runner on second and the app would only allow me to select from the options presented none of which was cancel. I chose "Held Up" only cause there were no other options. Not sure if this did anything to any stats anywhere or what the app actually did. Would have been nice to have had a cancel button on that screen for big fat fingers like mine!

or is there another way to get out of this screen?

In most cases, you can "shake the device" and it will ask if you want to cancel out of scoring instead of having to complete the play and click undo.

well there you go, wish I would have known that. Probably says that somewhere on this site but I have not seen that before. I'll do the little shake next time.

FTM, please check the shake function for two things

1) when you tap a runner on a base to steal or something. I shake but no prompt..
2) when i do get a shake on an "in play" or "out" activity, i only get one chance at a shake.. if i shake and i say no, .. then later try and shake on same play.. shake but no prompt...

As noted above, you can "shake" the phone to cancel out of scoring an at bat. We did not put the "shake to cancel" into Runner only play entries because that was always 3 clicks at most to exit the screen and Undo, and a "shake and confirm the shake" probably takes more time than the 3 clicks (actually only 2 many times).

That being said, we will add the "shake to cancel" capability to the runners as well for consistency.
