Change from single + error to double?

Situation: Batter hit shallow pop-up to rf. Right fielder dove for ball but ended up booting it into foul territory. Batter ran on to 2b. I scored as a single + an error on rf (if rf had just fielded on a bounce, batter would've stayed at 1b). The official scorer ended up scoring it as a double. I tried to go back and change it to a double on the pitch-by-pitch screen but it wouldn't allow me to do that. I know that some changes are not allowed as they result in a change of later plays but this change would not do that. Is there a way to do it but I'm missing something? Thanks.

In this case, the "single" is treated as one play, then the "runner advanced to second" is a second play, so trying to change the single to a double would not work because of the second play that comes after it. If you knew right after the play what the official scorekeeper called, you could have used undo, then made the correction. The best thing to do at this point is to probably just make a note in the game (you can add notes to any pitch by pitch entry by going to Pitch By Pitch through Game Manager).

We will be adding that functionality soon... they currently only show up in Pitch by Pitch and the Scorecast, but we will have them in the PDF soon as well. It will retroactively show them when we add it.

Is there any way to get the contents of the pitch-by-pitch off my iPhone (as xml or even plain text) so I can extract the info? That would be less tedious than scrolling through the pitch-by-pitch.

If you are using the iScorecast capability, there is a pitch-by-pitch listing in the online scorecast that will show the notes as well. We do not have an export of pitch by pitch currently, but the team websites we will be releasing very soon has a "Play by Play" listing in HTML that can be copied.
